The Madeup Team are Sharon Irving & Monica George, AKA “The Dream Team”. We are professional, freelance hair and makeup artists living and working in Edinburgh.

We’ve been in the hair (Monica) and makeup (Sharon) industry for (gasp!) over 30 years! Making TV, commercials, advertising, fashion editorials, live shows, events and weddings.

Whether you're attending a glamorous black tie event or a vintage-themed wedding, we're always up for the challenge!

We always strive to create a warm, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere because we believe it's the perfect environment for our clients to be themselves and enjoy the experience.

Sharon Irving

I attended the Mary Reid School of Beauty where I achieved a distinction. After that, I worked as a freelance makeup artist for TV and editorial shoots in Edinburgh whilst building up my book of contacts in the wedding industry.

I have closely collaborated with top makeup brands, including MAC, Bobbi Brown, and YSL. My kit is stocked with the latest and best products on the market.

My ultimate goal is to enhance your natural beauty, bringing out your best features and making your skin look flawless. My passion lies in skincare, and I stay up-to-date with the latest innovations, looks, and trends by following beauty bloggers closely.

Monica George

I began my career at the award-winning salon, Charlie Miller. After that, I moved on to Paterson SA, where I was privileged to work closely with the late and great George Paterson as part of his artistic team. Later on, I moved to a leading fashion agency in Cape Town, South Africa. There, I had the opportunity to work on numerous fashion shows, editorial shoots, and TV shows such as America's Next Top Model.
