Our Bride became a ‘Cherri’
Following last month’s theme, we had another wonderful teacher to get bridal-ready! Emma’s wedding took place on the breathtaking Inchcolm Island, which required an early start—7 AM sharp—to ensure all seven ladies were picture-perfect before their ferry crossing. Missing that boat wasn’t an option!
Emma’s bridal party was full of energy and fun. The bridesmaids gifted her a gorgeous hamper of goodies, and she added a personal touch by pressing a cherry logo onto their nightshirts—fitting, as her new surname is Cherri!
We worked our wedding makeup magic in a charming Airbnb in South Queensferry. Though small, it was flooded with natural light and had stunning views, setting the perfect atmosphere for bridal prep. Emma opted for a timeless and radiant bridal makeup look, enhancing her natural beauty with a soft, glowing complexion, defined eyes, and a classic lip shade to last the day.
Despite a few pre-wedding hiccups—like the uncertainty of electricity at the reception venue and last-minute ID checks for the ferry—Emma remained calm and cheerful throughout. Her relaxed approach made the morning a joy, and we loved being part of her special day.
Bridal makeup that lasts from dawn to dusk is essential for any wedding, especially one with an adventurous setting like this. We ensured Emma and her bridal party had flawless, long-wear makeup that stayed fresh from the ceremony through to the evening celebrations.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Emma, and we hope you love these stunning bridal beauty shots as much as we do!
