Some strange and fun facts about Madeup Team’s Sharon & Monica
Sharon: “Something that happens a lot, is that as the brunette I always get called “Monica”. And Monica (blonde) gets called “Sharon”. We are convinced this is down to Monica in Friends being brunette!

We became friends 30 years ago when we worked together at a salon on Rose Street in Edinburgh. We bonded over our matching boots.
Our first sons, although four years apart in age, have birthdays that are just a day apart. Then, to make things even more bizarre, our youngest children were born on the same day! To add to the craziness, when Monica went into labour, I was rushed in to take the last bed in the ward, so she had to go to a different hospital to give birth.

We’ve holidayed together in NYC, Poland, Santorini and Nice. ✈️
Our best job ever was working backstage at Live 8! We had the opportunity to meet and do touch-ups with many celebrities, with George Clooney, Susan Sarandon, and Neneh Cherry being the top three!
Working with your best friend, all the time can be challenging, but not for us. We share a similar style, preferring a hair and makeup look that appears effortless, despite the time we take to achieve it. Our goal is to make it seem like we didn't put in much effort."I stick to writing our social media, Monica's more creative and is excellent at arranging flowers for our bride’s hair.
We enjoy listening to our client's stories, laughing, finding the fun, enjoying good food, oh.. and a good red wine 🍷.
